Adriane began cycling at the age of 4 and it was her father, a cycling competitor, who influenced her and led her to persevere. She loves the adrenaline she gets from her sport, the action and challenges that stem from her competitors and the satisfaction of winning. She doesn’t like when the race becomes too passive, as she is very competitive.
Silver medallist in the time race event at the U-18 Canadian Championship in 2009.
22nd place in the timed race event for the 2009 World Championship.
She is studying at Léopold Gravel School.
Chloé has a positive attitude and when she sets her mind on something, she tries her very best to achieve it. She describes herself has somewhat materialistic, since she cares about her possessions a great deal, but also sentimental because she never throws anything out! Chloé dreams of participating in the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.

Her real name is Daria, but people call her Dasha. Born in Russia, near Moscow, she arrived in Canada 10 years ago. Dasha does not hesitate to push herself to the limit. She trains hard and is very motivated, but sometimes tries to do too many things at once!

Joakim is a multi-talented athlete that performs well in his three sports of choice. Ambitious and dreaming of entering the Olympic Games in more than one sport, he loves the feeling of speed, adrenaline surges and challenge that these three sports bring him.
Short Track 2009 : Canadian Champion (15 years old and under) at the 500 m 666 m-777 m-1 000 m.
Long Track 2009-2008 : Juvenile Canadian Champion and has 3 Canadian records
Cycling 2009: Silver medallist in the sprint and bronze medallist at the Junior Canadian Championships pursuit on track and Quebec Champion on track for 4th consecutive year.

Justine is the middle child of the Dujour-Lapointe sisters and describes herself as dynamic, impulsive and good-natured. She loves freestyle skiing, which she claims to be an extreme, complex and spectacular sport. Justine has her sights set on the 2014 Olympic Games, to be held in Sotchi, Russia.

Marilou fell in love with weightlifting, which was offered as an extracurricular class at her school during lunch periods. She has an excellent technique and displays grace under pressure, which was evident in Beijing. Until the 2012 London Games, her goals are to increase her strength and get a gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and 2011 Pan-American Games.

Martin believes that balancing his athletic career, studies and family life is the key to success since, according to him, imbalance often impedes performance and excellence. Now that he has been through his first OG experience, he yearns to climb the podium in the next Games.

Martine is a kind and generous athlete who loves to laugh, but when she’s wrestling, she is determined, multi-talented and very stong technically. In the future, she would like to promote her sport towards youth and train high-caliber athletes.
Two-time World Champion in 2008 and 2009 and vice World Champion in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

The eldest of the three sisters, Maxime is a hard-working skier who constantly seeks to improve herself. This year, she would like to develop better turns to increase her speed. She is curious, open-minded and very passionate about whatever she sets her mind on. Maxime’s current goal is to participate in the 2010 Vancouver Games.

Last summer, Meaghan achieved her dream of becoming an Olympic athlete at the Beijing Games. Her main diving strengths are her flexibility and mid-air speed. Shy and curious, she plans to become a physical education teacher.

Mickael is an intense athlete driven by a tremendous will to win. Positive and focused, he also describes himself as prideful and a sore loser. He dreams of winning a gold medal at the Paralympic Games, tour the world and become a trainer.
He was selected for the Senior National Team and won the Silver medal at the 2009 Rollers Cup in Austria.

Simon is a workout machine that never stops on his own. He dreams of becoming a professional racer on the European circuit, and plans to work as a nutritionnist or in a body health-related field after retirement.
Stéphane is an athlete who thrives on adversity and loves to push his own limits, apply his sport’s tactics, and work either solo or as part of a team. He dreams of becoming a world champion and competing in the Olympics. Congratulations Stéphane!
Valérie is a passionnate, disciplined, independent and responsible athlete. Her goal is to participate in the 2010 vancouver games and become a nutritionnist for athletes after retirement. Her passtimes include computers, athletic events, outdoor activities, rollerblading and cycling.

Vincent likes the extreme side of his chosen sport. A real competitor at heart, he’s already ranked 3rd in the world, so the sky’s the limit for the Vancouver Games! Vincent studied kinesiology and would like to be a physical therapist. His wildest dream is to own a professional sports team.
