Saputo, which is comprised of 2 sectors and 5 divisions, is present in 3 food market segments: retail, foodservice and industrial. During fiscal 2008, Saputo processed over 5 billion litres of raw milk and produced approximately 500 million kilograms of cheese and, with the recent acquisition of the activities of Alto Dairy Cooperatives (Alto Acquisition), should process annually approximately 5.7 billion liters of raw milk and should produce approximately 600 million kilograms of cheese. We are the 15th largest dairy processor in the world, the largest in Canada, the 3rd largest in Argentina, among the top 3 cheese producers in the United States (US), and the largest snack-cake manufacturer in Canada.
