Reaching New Heights: The Saputo Climbing Centre opens in Martensville, Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan just got a little more adventurous!

The Saputo Climbing Centre recently began welcoming athletes of all ages and abilities, thanks to a $50,000 contribution from the dairy processor’s impactful Legacy Program. The state-of-the-art climbing wall, located inside the newly built Martensville Recreation Centre (MRC), invites both new and experienced climbers to rise to the challenge and take their passion for movement to new heights!

As an added bonus, the wall is just a stone’s throw away from Saputo’s plant in Saskatoon, fostering a stronger connection between employees and the local community.

Since launching in 2013, the Saputo Legacy Program has transformed aging sports facilities and created innovative spaces for people to come together, with over CDN $3.7 million invested in 80 projects across the world. From batting cages in Vaughan, Ontario, to tennis courts in Victoria, Australia, these projects are more than just investments; they are symbols of Saputo’s commitment to encouraging active lifestyles, promoting community well-being, and forging lasting legacies for future generations.

The Saputo Climbing Centre is no exception – offering local residents a fun, dynamic, and accessible way to stay active while pushing their limits.
