Our partnerships

Saputo aims to encourage and support organizations and programs that focus on building healthier communities by providing nourishing food and promoting an active lifestyle.

Over the years, we have built solid partnerships to achieve this common goal.

Active Surrey

In the British county of Surrey, Active Surrey’s mission is to enrich people’s lives through sport and physical activity. With Saputo’s support, they run free summer camps for underprivileged children, offering a full schedule of activities and healthy meals to help kids in need overcome hunger and inactivity during the school holidays.

FitSpirit is committed to developing partnerships with schools and communities to create sustainable physical activity programs for teenaged girls that are adapted to their concerns and realities. As a founding partner, Saputo is proud to support an inspiring organization that has impacted the lives of over 200,000 girls since 2007.

KidSport, a Canadian national not-for-profit organization, believes that all kids should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sport. Through a confidential application process, KidSport helps remove financial barriers for children aged 18 and under by covering the costs of sports equipment and registration fees.

Le Grand défi Pierre Lavoie

In Québec, Le Grand défi Pierre Lavoie aims to encourage young people to adopt healthy lifestyle habits and to instill healthy choices in future generations. For over 10 years, Saputo has been helping the organization motivate more youth and adults reap the benefits of an active lifestyle.

ParticipACTION is a national non-profit organization that inspires and supports Canadians to make physical activity a vital part of their everyday life. By partnering with ParticipACTION and its Community Challenge, we’re proud to support initiatives that encourage people to get active, making a tangible and positive impact where we operate.

BC Agriculture in the Classroom

Saputo has been a long-time supporter of the BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation and their Fruit & Vegetable Nutritional Program + MILK. Students sample fresh fruits, vegetables and milk to better understand the origin and importance of healthy local food choices.

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run believes that every girl is born with limitless potential. The Girls on the Run programs focus on confidence, competence, care, connection, and character to strengthen emotional and physical health. The programs support participants in boldly pursuing their dreams.

Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation and Saputo have teamed up in Australia to help provide children with skills and experiences that can lead to positive food behaviours throughout their lives. Through this program, children grow, harvest, cook and share fresh, seasonal, and delicious food. Our partnership ensures educators, teachers and specialists have the tools and fresh ideas to deliver the program at over 1,500 schools and childhood centres across Australia, reaching at least 200,000 children each year.
