We’re proud of the strides we are making in reducing our water consumption. In 2020, we pledged to accelerate our global water performance by 2025, with a commitment to reduce the water intensity of our operations by 10% against our fiscal 2020 baseline and to improve our wastewater quality year-over-year.

With continued pressure to reduce water usage in a state where water resources are limited, our engineering team designed a water polisher system to capture, clean, and reuse the water in one of our manufacturing facilities in California, USA. 

As a result, we’ll be able to reduce our water use by more than 335,000 m³ per year–the equivalent of almost 134 Olympic swimming pools. This initiative advances us one step closer to fulfilling our water performance goals.
